What is Whole30 - Part Four

It is January308th? What…where did the time go?  This month has flown by for me! That’s not to say though that this month has not been a jam packed month though.  A lot has happened this month, some that I will be telling you about in the near future!

But today, we are focusing on WHOLE30!  This is the last in the 4 part “What is Whole30” series and that also means that I am almost through my NINTH round of Whole30!  Yipee and Yikes all at the same time!

If you are just coming into this series be sure to check out the first 3 posts here…

What is Whole30 Part One

What is Whole30 Part Two

What is Whole30 Part Three

Today we are going to talk all about the resources available to you when you do Whole30.

First, let’s talk about the food!  In the last few years the Whole30 food world has exploded and now you can find Whole30 compliant marinades, salad dressings, and even full meals at local grocery stores.  A couple chain restaurants even entertain Whole30 menus items throughout the year.

My first round of Whole30 back in 2015 was 100% handmade items and meals.  Today, I have a full host of companies that I work with and/or personally use to create a much simpler Whole30.

And a simpler Whole30 makes for a happy momma, but also rolls over into new product staples in my family’s meal plan.

If I can find a ketchup that everyone likes that does not contain sugar, why not always use it.  If I enjoy my morning coffee with unsweetened coconut milk, why switch back to flavored creamer that is loaded with additives?

It really just makes good sense, find products you like through the guidelines of Whole30 and continue using the ones you enjoy for a healthier lifestyle far beyond Whole30!

Here is a list of my favorites - click on the name to visit each site.

*some of these links are affiliate links and that means that if you make a purchase through these links, I will earn a small compensation for that purchase.  It does not increase your price at all, it simply helps me to continue to run this site and my business! So, thank you for your support!

Tin Star Foods - Clarified Butter on-the-go

Thrive Market - pantry staples

Kettle & Fire - amazing broth

The New Primal - marinades, sauces, dressings

Vital Proteins - collagen peptides

Tessemae’s All Natural Dressing and Sauces Variety 8 pack - Whole30 Certified, soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, keto approved

These are amazing companies whose products are in my pantry right now!  These companies are not all 100% Whole30, so be sure to check labels before using anything in your next Whole30!

Education is always very important as well, and the Whole30 community provides loads of it!  The co-founder of Whole30, Melissa Hartwig Urban, has written several books that outline the details of the program, recipes to make your Whole30 scrumptious, and even a journal full of tips, tricks, hacks, and encouragement.  Here is a list of those books…

Along with these amazing resources, there are now Certified Whole30 Coaches to guide you through the Whole30 program from start to finish.

This addition to the program has really changed the impact and reach of this eating style.  It has broadened the reach of Whole30 and is allowing those who may be intimidated by the program to work hand in hand with someone who is very “in the know”!

Along with being a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist, I am a Certified Whole30 coach!  I would love to work with you and guide you through this life changing program.

You can find out more about how I work with my clients here.

You can also find a full listing all coaches at the Whole30 website.  We each have different experiences, which allows us to all connect with our clients in a different way.  If you don’t think you and I are a good fit but are still interested, give the other coaches a look!

This wraps up our 4 part series on Whole30.  I hope I reached into all areas of the program well enough to answer you questions, but if you still have some just leave a comment or email me at devon@apurelynutritiouslife.com!  I would love to chat more with you.

Starting next week, we will begin diving into another very popular eating style - KETO!  Stay tuned and be sure to sign up for my mailing list to be the first to know when I post to my blog!
